3M™ Electrical Insulating Sealers 1601-C (clear) and 1602-R (red) are electrical grade, fast drying sealers and insulators. They come in a pressurized can and help to protect surfaces from weather, moisture, corrosion, oil, alkalis and acids.
For an insulating and covering paint, use Scotch® 1601 Sealer Black. This sealer is based on alkyd resin and ‘hardens’ into a flexible and resistant film, with excellent adhesion to most common surfaces such as metal, glass, plastic, wood, etc. Scotch® 1601 is resistant to UV, acids, oil and alkalis. It’s moisture and weatherproof in addition to having high dielectric strength.
