3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty comes in a tape form that is used to insulate irregular surfaces like fittings and valves. This self fusing, electrical grade tape can be stretched or wrapped and helps to insulate connections up to 600V. It withstands a wide temperature range of 32 to 176 °F (0 to 80 °C).

Use 3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty 38 mm x 1.5 m to insulate connections up to 600 V and to round out high-voltage connections to gear, smooth bus bar irregularities, and make a moisture seal at ground wire exits in high-voltage splices. This insulation putty can be wrapped, stretched or moulded around irregular shapes for quick, smooth insulation build-up. It’s soft and pliable enough to simply mould with your fingers. It’s UL recognised as a joint insulation for electrical conductors at temperatures up to 80 °C when over wrapped with either Super 33+™ or Super 88 Vinyl Electrical Tape.
